Reef Teach is Cairn's unique educational centre for one of the “Seven Natural Wonders of the World”, The Great Barrier Reef.

After visiting Reef Teach and experiencing a nightly Reef Teach presentation about the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef , we will have you massively excited about your adventure to come. You will be more informed and knowledgeable about the Great Barrier Reef so you can really understand and appreciate your experience. We want you to be educated, relaxed, comfortable and well prepared so you can get the most out of your amazing journey under the sea while taking this reef trip of a lifetime.   

Diving and/or snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef is far more enjoyable if you actually know what you are looking at………

When you visit the Great Barrier Reef , you will see fish changing colour in front of your eyes, corals changing colour, fish grooming other fish and lots more unbelievable little miracles. After experiencing a Reef Teach presentation, you really will understand this totally awesome world! We will dispel many of the ‘Hollywood' induced fears about visiting the Great Barrier Reef , as well as make you aware of how to avoid some of the real hazards that are out there. We can assure you, you will be surprised at what they are!
We believe that after a Reef Teach presentation you will have a longer and more enjoyable underwater experience. You will see so much more and will be thrilled at the ability to recognize the marine life. You will really remember your Great Barrier Reef education adventure for many years to come.

It is full of amazing facts, beautiful images, video footage, coral displays and many encounters of very peculiar marine specimens. It will enthrall, amaze and captivate you. You will leave this show raving about the funny stories and the weird and fascinating way the Great Barrier Reef works!!!
At Reef Teach, you will learn about Crown of Thorns, Coral Bleaching and other Great Barrier Reef threats. You will also learn how we can minimize these threats and prolong the reef life. The show will lead you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. You will hear and see heartbreaking facts about man's disregard for this wonderful paradise, but with practical solutions offered you will leave the show inspired and empowered to change our society for the better.

Admission: Adults - $15.00 AUD 
Children 14 & under - $8.00 AUD

Free: Fish and coral identification sheets, tea, coffee, Milo and the best chocolate biscuits in town!
